If you tear your meniscus, your doctor may recommended rest, ice, an NSAID, or even surgery. A chiropractor may also recommend ART. And you'll also hear people prescribing temperature contrast therapy, fish oil, pineapple and glucosamine.
But for injuries like this, the biggest challenge is often the mental one. It's difficult to set aside hard training in favor of careful rehabilitation. Lower body exercises, cutting, kicking, running and even biking are all out. In their place are single straight-leg lifts and ice packs.
Yawn.
But there's only one way to successfully rehab an injured joint. You must commit to it with the same fervor that you commit to everything else.

Hey I love this blog about knee rehab I know that I had a pretty hard time after rehab was over. I mean the rehab specialists let me go and I was still weak with a lack of movement. Then I found a gym and a group of personal trainers at www.sunshinegym.com who helped me take my rehab to the next level. I was wondering if there are any specific post rehab workouts you know of because if not everyone should check out illuminate gym's personal trainers.
